So many fur types. Which ones are “rare”?
There are so many fur types, and even more species with their own set of fur types, but which fur types are actually considered “rare”??? Are any fur types that are NOT common considered rare? Because that is a huge window IMO.

I am pretty sure there is a guide in the "Guides" tab.

Albino, Melenistic, Crested, Gold and Piebald are genuinely considered to be rare furs. The crested is unique to Blue Wildebeast, the Gold is unique to Gemsbok. Leucistic isn't really all that rare but is considered to be "uncommon" in the game. The rest are, as you said, color variations/phases. Okay, I forgot about "Spirit" which is unique to Brown Bear in Med Ved.

So gold bears aren’t rare? Is that what your saying? That gold is only rare when it comes to Gemsbok?

According to the guide there are no "gold" colored bears. Other than common furs There are brown, blonde and cinnamon Black bears, Mel and Spirit Brown Bear and Mel Grizzly. As far as possible Albinos go I've never seen an Albino Bear. Might be one as part of a mission and might not be. If there is one it won't be wandering around anywhere but the mission area. Both the Blonde and Cin Black Bears may appear to look more honey or gold colored. In any event, there's an abundance of each of the color types for black bears out there that none could actually be considered as "rare" just uncommon.

What about a blonde brown bear (taiga)? Asking for a friend lol he doesn’t know if it’s considered rare or not.

Thanks PicSoul. My philosophy is that if it's something I rarely see, it's rare enough for me. Any idea why the dusky and red/brown Kudu only come in females? Just wondering is all.
