Cuatro Colinas - Baden Mission - Black Wolf

SPOILER ALERT!

Hey guys,
completed all the Baden missions up to the last one where to shoot the black wolf.
I moved at night to the marked location and after a while the wolf came up. The shot broke and the game crashed. Restarted the game, mission is still 'active' and the wolf has to be shot, but he doesnt' spawn/appear anymore.

Any ideas oder suggestions on that?

Now that was a bit of bad luck eh? Does your map show hunting pressure where you shot the wolf? In my game when the game crashes all the dead animals vanish along with tracks etc... and all I'm left with is the hunting pressure. If you didn't kill the wolf he may reappear in a day or so. Hope so anyway.

Checked this already and there is no hunting pressure, so the wolf should still be "alive" or should respawn, but there is no hint of him, no matter how long I wait and hide and call at the marked location. Running around delivers no tracks of him, so I think he isn't in that area.
Don't have any clue how to trigger him again.
I think I will try the "spawn force method" in the evening, but I guess that this will take no effect on mission animals. :-/

Maybe population 8 delete, restart, and is going on.

Yeah, could be a thing, but my herde management is in full progress atm - that would be very disappointing. I think, that the usual population is irrelevant for mission animals. In Hirschfelden the bison has respawned on and on when you didn't shoot him with a pistol as mentioned in the mission log. But thanks for your hint, Jörg!

I have spent quite a few hours, over three hunts, during the night and the wolf never showed up. That's the only part of mission I have to do as shown on my huntermate. If anybody can help:
1. Does the wolf appear near or walk in to the mission marker?
2. If he walks in, from what direction is he coming?
3. At what time of the night does he show up, or approximately how long after you reach the location?
I have a tripod at about 35 m west of the mission marker.

Tent and tripod , ist super, i start at 19.00 sit at the tripod, also i have the caller "Bambi" . At 19.40 , i killed the black wolf.

On my first try I've been waiting there for ~10 RL mins. Then he started his hellish barking and attacked me. He came from downhill (north), but I don't know if that's always the case...
Finished 2 more hunts with a lot of calling, but that beast doesn't appear anymore.

For me i tried to put a tree stand 15m from the marked spot Baden's note says 21:20 as the last time hack,so waited ,21;20 came but no wolf got worried that it wouldnt show up so i got out of the stand and as soon as i did,( BAM !!) he was there saw its head once shot, then he barked all the way kinda toward the fork between the two outposts. Found a blood trail near where i saw it first and followed it til i found the Black Wolf. MISSION COMPLETE.

Thank you guys. I will try later. It seems he shows up when you are on the ground. I only waited for him from a tripod or tree stand.

Got him. Effectively, you have to be on the ground for him to show up. He showed up at 19:30 from the North. Thanks again for your help DownhillDom and jimmyporter101068.

No Problem ClemD, i"ve had plenty of help from ppl in this forum. Many thanks . Sometimes it the only way to get the missions done without having to be trying for months to finish them.

Did the achievement 'Shady Dealings' (Harvest Fantasma, Ogro, and Sombra) unlocked for you?
Mine doesn't and you have to harvest all of the three wolves for completing the missions.
I guess it's bugged, atleast for me

@DownhillDom, Did you ever get the wolf to appear? I am having the same issue.
