Dev's means Developers last I knew.
And I don't think Dev's are Streaming the game or playing that live ?
Reality ?
Member / subscriber donations
...so the Hosts can play games and get paid by youtube and its users / subscribers.
Likely how they make a living wage while living in Mom and Dads basement. Lol
besides that... to entertain people and make them feel as if they are somebody or belong to something that has a supposed purpose.
Tho' I've no idea what that is... a sense of belonging ?
I do not participate... as it's just a game... for me.
What good info do you obtain ?
Curious as the Live Streaming has not been helpful to me in anyway whatsover.
Checking out youtube and various hosts... seems to net better learning - info results.
...at least for me.
Idle chit chat offers little beside maybe a sense of belonging.
The 4099 hours of my COTW personal playtime has also been helpful to me.
Besides already understanding the basics of real life hunting / shooting...
live and learn... has been my motto and learning curve for this game.
The game's bugs... have made it more challenging to say the least.
Its not real life hunting / shooting... It's a video game... close enough but no cigar.
Now if only the Dev's would fix the bugs that have plagued this game for way too long.
Not the visual boogers... the bugs that hamper the " in game " hunting experience.
yes they are not giving briefings on their daily activities. you or i wouldnt do that either. or pining themselves down to promises they cant keep.
so what?, take what info and intel you can gather. yeah its all light and lame and not a kubrick film, but i am happy they are offering something, and yes as you said, its a feeling of belonging.
but i have faith in them, its a small crew, 13 people, so half would be actual devs,
learned that.
see you at camp.
The devs stream CoTW every Tuesday at 16:00 CET and Classic on Thursday at the same time.
They show upcoming content and answer questions. Maybe not every question and often times the questions get missed but they do answer some and sometimes give away prizes.
You can watch the live stream either on Twitch [www.twitch.tv] or Mixer [mixer.com].
