Never seen an albino.
I’ve played 129 hours on console and about 8 hours on PC and I have never seen a albino!

Come to think of it I’ve only ever killed one diamond and that was a boar. Lol

What’s your experience with killing diamonds and albino?

Do they exist on every reserve?

I've managed to harvest an albino, diamonds are another matter. Some players have gone over 600hrs in the game and yet failed to see even one animal that could possibly be a diamond. The higher the difficulty rating of the animal the less it will vocal or respond to calls and the more apt it is to flee at the merest whiff of human activity (to include stink).

Unless i reached level 60 i never hunted for anything specific and just shot what would get in my sight by pure chance. This way i only managed to get 3 mallard diamonds and one of the ducks in Parque Fernando in over 300 hours. The only albino i ever saw was the one from the mission.

Recently i changed my tactics to concentrate on diamonds and follow their tracks but i lost all 3 of them because the tracks just stopped. Due to some bugs it has become rare that i play the game for longer than 30 minutes in one setting, about a year ago i used to play for many hours each time i started the game.

So from my experience i'd say if you wait to find some by chance it will be a very very rare occasion to find diamonds, if you change your style to find them it shouldn't be too hard.

From what i read in other threads i remember some people saying that in general there is 1-2 diamonds per reserve and there won't spawn any new ones until these ones are killed. I don't know if this is still valid or if it changed with the latest DLCs.

I have 50 h in game and killed an male albino deer yesterday, lucky I guess.

Today I found 2ea 9-Legendary Cape Buffallo. Two different herds but only about 300m apart.
I bagged both but to my chagrin, neither was a diamond. The TR of one was too low and the weight of the other was also too low. I'll keep trying. Sooner or later I'll find a CB that has both the weight and the TR to make it.

you get a free albino if you finish the fleischer (I think) side quests

280 hours in game, 1247 harvests.
I have harvested a Springbok, lesser Kudu and Cape Buffalo albino. All were females.
I have 6 diamonds of various species, but since I neither care about or target diamonds I cant be specific.
I free hunt to explore and relax, point my nose into the wind and take whatever crosses my path.

On Hirschfelden, Medved and, probably, Leyton is one or a pair of diamonds on the map. If you don't count ducks/geese/rabbits.
Africa has more diamonds than in the previous maps.
In the Fernando Parque there is at least one diamond of each species (probably due to the more easily quest for trophy room).
Some diamonds randomly respawn after death in others, and some diamonds are reborn in the same spieces of animal, but a little less rated (as usual not-diamond animals).

Jager's last mission on Hirsh spawns in an albino for you to kill. It's a good idea to do all of the story arcs on a map becuse the last ones usually to give you diamonds and rares. Bad thing about mission-spawned animals is that they don't show up in the statistics once killed... only the ones that spawn naturally do.

I'm on mysecond time through the game. I've had 3 or 4 diamonds so far, and a few albinos. Albinos are around but scarce. very easy to spot. I got 2 albino red deer does up in the northeast in the lumbercamp area. Not both at the same time though. Diamonds are even rarer. One of the diamonds was a bull moose around Calburn (before they "fixed it"). I had a whit tail too but I forget where I got it.
seen a albino earlier. shot many species in albinos. just scour maps play regular sooner or later you will bag one. especially in deer species who group up in large herds. like red deer blackbucks .

And along comes a player with 32 diamonds, multple albinos, melanistic, yep...even diamond piebald. all in 700 hours.

How did he do that ? :p

This is my second playthrough to lvl 60. Between both characters I have killed 20-30 Diamonds and at least 1 albinos of each species that can have albinos, an untold number of Piebalds, 0 melanistic (my goal is to bag a few of these). If you are hunting colors/skins my best advice is to play multi player sessions.

The reason for this is because each persons server is running a different instance of the game and there for increases your chances of finding a Albino/Rare skin. If you are hunting diamonds - I'd just play single player to keep from having random players scare of your super hard to track prey.

What about Leucistic, looks like albino but with normal skin and eye color.
Harvested 3 Cape Buffalos and 1 Reindeer.

Ummm .. I dont think so.
In Multiplayer you connect to the hosts game and everyone gets a chance to see and hunt whatever is spawned in the hosts instance of the game. There can only be one version of the game that all connected players play in.
