Diamond Reindeer.

After 800+ hours I still don't have all the answers. This is the first 5-medium Reindeer that I have seen in the game, have taken lot's of 4's that I know will be Gold score but was not expecting a Diamond on a 5.

So can the more experienced players tell me are there 6,7,8,and 9's in Reindeer or is 5 the max.

I just shot another lvl 4. SILVER WTF. How is a lvl 4 a silver? It is in the max weight category? (156-182)

Weight is not the determining factor when scoring Reindeer, antlers are. Silver is 600-799. For Gold you would need 800-949. Diamond is 950+

If you have to track an animal after you shoot it you will probably loose quick kill bonus pts. If you have 0% you've lost about 166pts but, how many final score pts you lose for each per cent varies. I've lost as many as 3pts with a 99% QK bonus but normaly I loose 2pts per 1 %. No level 4 ungulate will ever obtain a diamond rating and a level 5 might not as well. It's rare to find even a track with weight range indicating an animal "might" be of diamond calibre so I think it's great you got yourself one!!

Glad I’m not alone! Wife says I spend too much time playing “that stupid game”. So I told her she spends too much time watching her “stupid” soap operas and hooked my PC up to a 52” 1080p led tv with a surround sound bar. Take that!! She is a good sport though

The max TR for a Reindeer is 904 and the min historically is about 820. Both Weight and the TR are the primary influencers of Silver, Gold and Diamond ratings. Normally, on the weight range, an animal comes in near the bottom number and not even close to the upper number. With a weight of 171Kg your silver reindeer had potential to be gold but the antlers came up pretty low.
Mid 600's and up would be my guess for a Gold if not in the 700's. Great shot with that bow by the way.

Is that why my guy walks funny? Only diamond in 400 hours that I have is a white tail deer. I did get a legendary red deer but I got screwed by the consecutive harvest deal.
