This diamond I accidentally killed at Layton Lake (Belmont).
When you call an animal, first it always comes (or almost always) females and little males, ignore them (do not shoot) and wait, the big males always arrive in the background (you have to be patient), big males are loose because they use females as a shield :-)
Probably my last 100 hours or so I have been more focused on trophy animals especially Gold's.
Diamonds are sometimes a combination of good luck and skill.

Wow, these are some impressive stats! And I was feeling good about having around 200 harvests :D To be fair, though, I am about 40 hours in and have spent a good portion of time just roaming the reserves and unlocking outposts and questions marks. Also, I have to start using callers, have only used a few of them sporadically. Finally, I have to kill some geese, I've read it's a quick and easy source of money and xp (btw, I'm on PS4).
Is that a bug?
I forgot to screenshot it due to my rage cause i tracked it for like an hour lol.
