Diamond Reindeer.
After 800+ hours I still don't have all the answers. This is the first 5-medium Reindeer that I have seen in the game, have taken lot's of 4's that I know will be Gold score but was not expecting a Diamond on a 5.

So can the more experienced players tell me are there 6,7,8,and 9's in Reindeer or is 5 the max.

No. 5 is the max. Predators and Red deer are the only ones that go past level 5. For Whitetail the max is level 3.
Reindeer max 5 here is a good chart for all animals and what to look for when tracking to try and track those hard to impossible to find diamonds. Yeah I have about 400 hours and not gotten a diamond yet but using this chart I have gotten more close at least I know what I am looking for when tracking.

440 hrs. myself and no diamond. The 3rd animal I ever shot in the game was a blacktail that scored 946 and I've never beaten it.
Yeah my closest was a Moose which had my Consecutive kills not be bugged and I had 100% it would have been 947 so close but so far away!!

I made a Moose Diamond, but I do not seek them.
This diamond I accidentally killed at Layton Lake (Belmont).

Wow...diamonds are forever, You are the lucky one, I'm very envious of your diamond score, I've played the game for 1200 hrs and no diamonds yet.

If you look for them they are very very hard to find, let chance and you will eventually kill one.
When you call an animal, first it always comes (or almost always) females and little males, ignore them (do not shoot) and wait, the big males always arrive in the background (you have to be patient), big males are loose because they use females as a shield :-)

Thanks for the info guys.
Probably my last 100 hours or so I have been more focused on trophy animals especially Gold's.
Diamonds are sometimes a combination of good luck and skill.

Wow, these are some impressive stats! And I was feeling good about having around 200 harvests :D To be fair, though, I am about 40 hours in and have spent a good portion of time just roaming the reserves and unlocking outposts and questions marks. Also, I have to start using callers, have only used a few of them sporadically. Finally, I have to kill some geese, I've read it's a quick and easy source of money and xp (btw, I'm on PS4).

yeah another good item is rabbits using the 22LR you can snipe them form a ways out the ammo's pretty cheap and such just have to find a nice area on Lake Layton map where you can shoot a good distance like 200M's plus and you can snipe a good number of them before they get spooked leading to some good easy quick cash and XP!

I try not to look at how many hrs I've put into this game. My wife says whatever it is, it's too many. Nice stats Jimco!

I shot a lvl 4 Reindeer with a weight of 170 Kg, it wasn't even gold rated, it was something like 746.

Is that a bug?

I forgot to screenshot it due to my rage cause i tracked it for like an hour lol.

Glad I’m not alone! Wife says I spend too much time playing “that stupid game”. So I told her she spends too much time watching her “stupid” soap operas and hooked my PC up to a 52” 1080p led tv with a surround sound bar. Take that!! She is a good sport though
