How do I get a Bow starting this game?

I just started this game and all they gave me in my inventory bag is a scope rifle.How do I get a bow?

you got to buy one for 6000 credits you have 2 to choose from if you downloaded the free dlc and 1 to start with if you didnt to buy somthing you simply go to any outpost there should be a shipping container with a red locker by it thats where the store is

I cant remember if it unlocks automatically when you download it but go to the page below which is a legal download as part of the game was a DLC they added it lets you get the Bearclaw Lite Compound Bow it's a good bow I used it alot when I started until I got the Hawk Edge which you will want once you unlock that bow.

Like I said download the below and I am not 100% sure if it unlocks right away or if you have to earn it in game but is worth it!

OK guess that isn't going to let me link to that page. In this case goto the games store page and scroll down to the DLC area and click the SEE ALL link and the bottom item is the bear claw click that then click the button to get it added. Is free no worries they have a few free items they added after the game was released

YEAH even I am using my bow far more then when I started. Only use the 338 when it's a must hit shot and calling them in further might risk losing a beast!

i did around 500+ hours with only firearms, and got the CB70 on a fluke and omg, fell in love with it, you have all the power you need for most game and its just so much fun to have to call them in, and take them, one after the other. my basic carry out is the .338 and CB70, anything else is tailored around what other game is in the area, so we both carry the same main weapons, see you at camp.

yeah my case when I am not mountain climbing like I have been today (its exhausting trust me HA HA just wish I could have lost some weight doing it HA HA)

but when hunting I typically carry my

Hawk Edge with 420 and 600 so can use either in slot 1
338 with Poly in slot 2
270 with poly in slot 3
243 with poly in slot 4
slot 5 Binocs
Slot 6-0 various lures depending on map and game

as for sight currently using 5 pin as good for various ranges like having a 5 setting one pin set up HA HA
