Diamond Moose

I'm at level 20 and just now killed a 952 Moose in Winnipeg. My first diamond animal ever! Don't have a moose call or scent to use and never saw a track of this monster until he stepped out of the brsh alonside the trail I was slow crouching along.

Let me get this straight Timber. You didn't spot it, didn't stalk it, didn't call or lure it and were just going slo mo down a trail and this diamond level moose just stepped out in front of you? Whatever you put in your coffee for luck I want some!

Yeah I have spent all day trying to get one with I think 2 misses. The first I had wrong weapon with me as was hunting bigger game then this afternoon I had a nice whitetail buck but I forgot I have 600 arrows in rather then 520 so while the rest were 100% the integrity was 0% GRR My own stupidity there. Should have checked my arrows but thought I had 420's in

To be honest, I never even saw more than a part of an antler and ear before he stepped out quartering towrds me at about 27m. I wasn't looking at his head. I was focused on making the body shot. I saw that his right leg was back and the left forward which allowed me chance a shot between the right leg and the front chest bump. If I'd have known it was a giant I'd probably would have been shaking too much to have made the shot! I thanked Jesus profusely for gifting me with pure dumb luck today and for everyday hereafter.

I feel for you. I've shot deer with the wrong gun (much as I hate to admit it). Lost the Integ bonus of course and ended up with bronze or silver instead of silver or gold. Makes me sick to my stomach just thinking about the what might have beens.

Off topic. But I have to ask. I'm new to this game and I haven't tried bow and arrows yet.
Do you play with the sporty bows or with the DLC one? If the latter, is it worth buying? I'm considering it now while it's on extra sale.

I have the DLC's but I tend to still stick with my Hawk Edge which is one of the ones you unlock as you progress in Bows no need to pay real money for that one and I find it just more reliable then the Corssbows or that Awful recurve HA HA Yes some such as myself and others say it is not at all accurate unless you practice alot with it!

Yeah I came close twice today one was a bull elk I killed but the one shot wasn't good enough to drop him and after 125'ms failed to qualify and then I killed a buck later but had wrong arrows in thought I had the 420's loaded but forgot I had 600's so integrity bonus was 0 UGH

I had a moose that was a diamond... he was just standing there and I got a instadrop shot.

Once I was going down a trail, probably walking or running... a deer ran right into me popping out of the brush as I alarmed it... The trail was near a valley. He was heading up the opposite side I got the rear neck shot... It was the biggest male white tail I'd ever seen. It was a diamond... I got bashed by a diamond deer.
