Best places to find Jackrabbit?

Wondering so I can get some trophies with my .22

I haven't found higher than a lvl 2. That being said I find them in all areas. Early morning and late afternoon check meadows and clearing, brush areas, and the surrounding tree lines. Midday I find more sucess in deeper woods. They seem to prefer areas with that scrubby red flora.

You can often see rabbits around the pathways and the lake shores. Try to find rabbit need zones. So you have to walk and search. Examine every rabbit droppings when you see. If poop state is very fresh or just now then search within 100m radius. Your hearing ability is very important at that moment. Rabbits are making too much noise when running one location to other location. Move slowly. Stay ready when you heard them. Use bushes to hide but be carefull some bushes make to much noise. I am using 60 lb bow with single pin sight and 300 gr arrow (blue one) for rabbit hunting. (Zeroing perk active.) Shot distance mostly within 20m - 30m. The hit is 99% successful. Suggestion: Never use 3-pin sight. I am guessing 3-pin sight have some bug. I am trying to level up bow experience points for getting 5-pin sight now.

Layton Lake district. LOL! Seriously, they are everywhere, but very hard to see. They tend to rustle in the tall grass that is redish in color. You can hear them pretty well. You can see the leaves getting kicked up from a distance, but the actual jackrabbit is concealed by the tall grass.

Best place to find jackrabbits is pretty much Everywhere around layton lake. they gather in various size groups all over the place.
