Multiplayer not shared exp or money?
it makes it kinda lame hunting with buddies cuz only one person gets the spoils then. I think there should be an option for a shared exp. like the person that got the kill gets like say 50% and then it's divided up between near by players/friends.

Good idea especially if you love hunting with friends, but if they try to implement this in a game, it will probable cause more bugs. :D

The XP and money is divided among all players who shot at and hit the animal. The amount given to each player is based on the amount of damage each play caused.

It was added in patch 1.8 on June 14 2017

" We made additional changes to how your rewards are communicated when you harvest an animal of a shared takedown. Instead of showing the total rewards, you will now see the rewards you receive based on your participation."

You can read more about it here.

yup i saw that. so do you go "3...2...1... shoot" on discord? or how do you not get shafted in money and exp when hunting with friends, PicSoul?

The maps are large enough we usually stay spread out and don't hunt together. On the few occasions that we have though, we just take turns and don't all blast away at the same animal like it's an FPS game.

ah then why not just play single player?

Well, for one, you can do challenges in MP that don't require you to be right next to one another. Also, if someone makes a poor shot you can go help them track, then return to hunting once the animal has been found. You can also do driven hunts but not be shoulder to shoulder with everyone else. Lots of things that can only be done in MP that don't actually require you to be right next to the person you're hunting with.
