Very grainy textures. Is there a fix?
Perhaps it's just the way the game is, but on the highest settings possible I am getting a very blury and almost hazy graphic experience. The anti-aliasing almost looks like it produces bright, blurry edges. Over time, my eyes adjust to it slightly. But I notice when I first boot up the game it is painfully obvious when coming from any other game. Is this a common issue?

You can try injecting lumasharpening with reshade to compensate. Most games that use temporal TAA give you the option now days but not this one.

Depends on the specs of your PC. Sounds like your GPU is suspect.

GTX 1080, 16g Ram, i7-7700K CPU. Assuming it could be an nvidia issue, but who knows. Needless to say, though, I shouldn't be having this issue.

I found it to be low quality SSAO application.
I am disappointed at the implementation of this along with the anti aliasing.
Both extremely bad.
Running in 4k looks waaaaay better.
The problem that i have running 4k is that the mouse has awful stutter when in fullscreen, its not stuttering in window borderless cant run the game in 4k borderless windowed so i have to choose between ♥♥♥♥ gfx or ♥♥♥♥ controls.
Great

edit, running 4k res desktop and can run 4k windowed borderless. problem solved, unless someone has an alternative ambient occlusion and anti aliasing to use then it will always look grainy in 1080

Turn volumetric fog off

Yup Volumetric fog is currently broken

Volumetric fog is also a resource hog in every game that uses it.

The anti-aliasing in this game looks terrible IMO. FXAA makes everything look blurry.
You're better off turning it off and forcing AA via your GPU.

In my case, the game seemed very low res and grainy even though the correct resolution was selected. Setting AA to DLSS fixed the grain, but it was pretty blurry now. I then selected a resolution other than 4K, and then went back to 4K. That fixed it for me. Crispy clear now.
