When you've taken your prey you can use the proper caller to get interested the rest of the pack and even lure the back
That is the basic... You can do much more elaborated ambush, but first try this
But, again, no official pronunciation on it
By logic you should use the wind to spread the scent. But I readded that with soft wind the scent spread as an sphere more that an oval... Just I readded it and can't remember where, forget about it.
Better let the downwind to spread the scent. Occam's razor... The simplest is the true. ;)
EDIT. Position yourself totally opposite to an usual stalking hunt
EDIT:
Actually on second try, I kept getting warning calls from the deer when I sprayed like 30 seconds earlier as I moved away. When I sprayed myself again, they started coming. Both lures and me were directly upwind of the deer and eachother.
The scent eliminator works on character, the other scents work in places. That's why I told you to spray your hidding place.
Roe deers as they're programed are a bit stupid, but try again.and I think I didn't explained properly. The scent propages in a cone from were you put it. Maybe the doe was still confused by the lure...
Don't know, if I'm wrong make me know. Always interested
Scents work, man (or madam)! Don't get fooled... They need time and patience... And planing... And luck (the wind) to work, but they do
Madam, pleasure.
You can hide your own scent with them. It's great. And you can set ambush far away of your hidding place. Set proper ambush as should be.
The callers in my experience makes the animal go almost straight to you, and that is no the best situation for every weapon. Like with shotgun. Moreover with a herd you want to take the herd out a hiding situation and obviously you want to be far to wait for the bucks (that coward ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ comes behind the does) In this situation scents plays great against callers.
Enough.
Sorry for the brick, madam.
