600/420/300g
1p: 24/33/30
2p: 38/53/58
3p: 51/73/84
Thick base of the lower vertical line: 67/95/??
With this in mind, I have returned to the shooting range to get the distances for the 70 pound bow and the crossbow:
70lb:
600-420-300
1 pin: 10-?-? It is better to aim directly with the second pin )
2 pin: 25-15-15
3 pin: 40-40-40
4 pin: 55-60-70
5 pin: 70-80-100
Crossbow:
600-420-300
1 pin: 25-30-30
2 pin: 40-55-55
3 pin: 50-75-85
Base of the thick vertical line:
65-95-115
Zeroing distance is top pin, so 10m, 30m, or 50 metres, it's really easy, almost like cheating :)
Also, just take it to Hirschfelden and go to the range.
Zero at each distance and check out the pins.
You'll need to be off the range, towards the targets but just use your rangefinder.
For instance, when zeroed at 10metres.
Top pin 10 metres
Middle pin 35 metres
Bottom pin 55 metres
At 50 metres
Top pin 50 metres
Bottom pin 90 ish metres :)
Didn't do the middle pin.
I'm finding it really easy, it's lovely to use and reloads nice and fast, happy days :)
Didn't they alter bows recently (dunno if crossbow is the same) so no matter what grain of arrow you were firing the zeroing was exactly the same?
It was in a recent patch :)
It does seem to be the same with the top pin of the crossbow as well :)
