Octagon
Anyone care to tell me why there's a little octagon that occasionally pops up on the bottom left of my screen while I'm walking?

I had the same question but it doesn't bother me enough to need to turn it off.

Well if it doesn't bother many players, then I suspect they won't even acknowledge it :( Call me crazy but I've been so annoyed by it that I don't even want to play the game now. I wouldn't really mind it if it would only pop up after closing the map/inventory, but having it blink while walking around is just so unpleasant and 'unimmersive'. *sigh* really, is it just me?

i noticed it too, but shrugged, it rellay cant bother me.

I don't think it should be a huge issue to turn it off -- hopefully we can get it in the next patch.

I think you are right. It just pops up so quick I wasn't counting sides :D It just seemed like a stop sign to me when I'd catch it out of the corner of my eye.

On the other hand I have been wanting a way to know when it saves. We had no idea before. Of course I would prefer a manual save option.
