You can also do challenges against other players. It's pretty cool.
Also, is there a tether between each of the players, or can each play go as far away from each other as possible?
its a huge open world so I highly doubt its tethered that wouldn't make sense
Some devs do some wacky things, you never know.
tethered like in ark survival evolved. No. I'ts free. Add me if you want to hunt together sometime, I own all the DLC so we can play anywhere.
Is this a recent change? I remember when I first got it the multiplayer was really tacked on and whoever joined the host couldnt unlock anything and hunting together was pointless as only one person could get xp/progression from a kill. Has this changed? Thanks!
Don't know if it has changed but I got the game in December and it's been working like that for me. So it's at least a few month in the game.
Afaik everyone who landed a shot gets xp and money depending on the damage you did but only one person can harvest it. Don't know if that's the case if 4 or more people shoot at one animal since I've played only duo so far.
