This is why they have the detailed rest zones out there - each one is for a specific group of animals, and the times are all different. It allows people to hunt day/night, without any big pause to the action. I don't really like it myself, because I like to pattern animals - that's part of hunting as well.
Coyotes are most seen in the night. But that means they spawn more, not their behaviour.
I noticed that drinking zones all have the same time (+/- 30 min) for the same animal type.
In my case blacktail, it goes from 05.00 to 09.30 am. Are resting zones not handlet the same? If not, then you can say most of the coyotes rest at that time.
