game keeps crashing while in multiplayer

everytime i play with my friend on multiplayer my game crashes and says lost connection to steam server... Does anyone know how to fix my issue. im tired of being in the middle of tracking an animal then all of a sudden my game closes out with a little box in the middle of my screen. my cpu doesnt over heat and i have a 6gb gtx 1060 gpu and it stays around 50c so i kno its probably not that.

ran the game again and the error mes said: The Hunter COTW_F.exe has stopped. ive verified my files reinstalled and nothing works.

Case: corsair carbide spec 04 2 intake fans 1 exaughst
OS: windows 10

Yes i checked lastnight. All my other games function fine and cotw does to as long as im not in multiplayer

From your initial report, it seems like you may be having internet connection issues. Does your connection drop often.

Wired or wireless connection?

Wired my connection drops once a day because i live in a very rural area but i checked to see if my internet went out and that was not the case

I am having this issue as well, only in multiplayer it will crash and says steam lost connection. But it hasnt.
