How do you set up a private multiplayer game.
What I can't figure out is how my friend can find my game that I create in multiplayer. I created a game for friends and when I click start I was immediately in the game. My question is how can my friend find my game to join me? It did not give me a chance to give my game and name or a password so that my friends can get in to play. Can somebody please help me.

They can just join your game through the steam friend's list by right clicking on you name and clicking on "join game", basically the same as any other game. Make sure you are setting the server to either "friends only" or "public" and NOT "private."

Thanks, that sounds simple enough.

How to you control access so not all your Steam friends can join in, just ones you allow??

What is the difference between "friends only" and "private"? I never had quite understood that, though I don't play MP very often.
