Archery Targets
Just started playing a few days ago. So far, I only bought a few of the DLC packs: ATV, Tents, and Lodge. Figured I'd play the two reserves the game comes with and see how I like it before acquiring too much more.

I noticed I can use my bow on the free DLC Rifle Range and it does give me unlimited arrows and marks my shots/score on the target. I used the shortest 50M targets obviously, and it helped me tremendously in determining the correct aiming point for arrow drop. So now I carry a bow and actually prefer it to the rifle.

Would be nice if the rifle range had a 20M target though. Where do you all go for archery target practice? Do the targets have scoring like the rifle range? ...and unlimited arrows?

yea and yes, targets are of game @ the archery range in Parque Fernando. Great map to boot.
but before i had that i would use a tree and measure the distance, although this costs for the arrows.

I mentioned the DLC that I currently have... that sounds like I have to buy a new reserve, correct?

I don't mind buying another reserve, but would like feedback regarding my questions before I buy it.

Does the archery range have targets that do the scoring like the rifle range?
Do you get unlimited arrows?

Yes to your last two questions.
And you don't need to buy the reserve, join a multiplayer game that is hosting on that reserve.

Good point. I'll probably just pick it up anyway.

As long as you are on the platform at the rifle range on Hirschfelden, you can use the bow with unlimited free arrows but shoot at unofficial targets that you measure (the calendar, the gate, the bucket, nearby trees, etc.), similar to what you have suggested, but free.

Another good point. I do like being able to see the score on target though. Not sure why they don't just have 10 and 20M targets for handguns on this range anyway?
