Always Running
I no longer walk - all my movement is at a run. How to I stop that?

you probably accidently activated caps lock. If you push that button again you should stop running all the time

Thank you!

Yeah well.. Just to be safe.. I would submit a ticket to the developers.

I have found that sometime it resets the movement, and sometimes it doesn't. Seems to be a bit hit and miss.

Before you blame the game, turn your keyboard upside down and give it a good slapping. Bits of dust and fluff can get under the keys and prevent them from sending a positive signal.

It can happen that after you hit caps-lock (for running) and then hit it again, while e.g. in map mode, caps-lock is off and you do still run. In that case, the function is just reverse and your caps-lock light will indicate walk, not run. The function stays the same though: hitting caps-lock while in normal mode *toggles* walking and running.

Thanks for the replies.
But no need to get arsy, Dan - I was asking for help, not complaining.

I have had this reversion happen so many times I quit using caps-lock and just press "shift" continuosly. Need to try if one can "reverse the reversion" again in-game, and not just by a restart.

Great idea.

You can reverse the reversing by opening map mode and hitting caps lock one time. Back to normal all should be normal again :-).

As someone whose significant other sneak-eats at the PC, I know exactly where 'Dan was coming from.
