Of all the rifles, which one makes the least noise?
I love listening to the sound of the wind, the birds, the leaves of the trees and that's why I put the volume very loud on my speakers. If I shoot a rifle, the sound is very unpleasant to me.

Every time I have more clear that I will play this game with bow and crossbow, but if I ever wanted to use a rifle, I would like to use the less noisy one.

How to consider the least noisy?

Well the one I always think has a silencer on it is the 22 but then it's not good for anything but the small animals but it sounds like a silenced rifle. This is a video that runs the 22 and you can see how it sounds

The 22 makes the least noise but anything that can take down anything bigger than a goose or fox is going to be loud. IRL even something like a .270 is very loud and will make your ears ring if you're not wearing hearing protection.

try putting on your ear protection before you shoot, makes it much more realistic

However, you shouldn't concentrate on the most quiet sound, but on the correct weapon for the concerning animals. Otherwise you torture them unnecessarily.
Or as someone above wrote, take bows.

2024 checking in to this top Search Result for "quiet rifles" - Weapons Pack 3 has the Vasquez Cyclone - a .45 Air Rifle that's good for Class 2-4 (so keep your .22 for Class 1) and is as quiet as you think an air rifle would be. It creates ZERO hunting pressure.

Archery is calling you.

Only if you miss your target.

He probably means it has a reduced spook radius.

@TomahawkJackson: Just in case, hunting pressure is a fixed term in this game, referring to the purple spots that each kill creates to varying degrees, which can delete need zones.

I'd love for the Vasquez to have reduced hunting pressure, btw. Bows have 0.25, the Vasquez could have 0.5 to align with its reduced spook radius. In my older version, it creates full hunting pressure.
because the game is bugged....the muzzleloaders dont attract atention, lel. try it.
