Whistling?
So I recently noticed that I can now whistle in game by pressing x, but what is the purpose of this? Is it so that when u spot an animal with its head down, that it will look around before bolting, is meant for a future dlc with a dog companion? Does anybody know?

Used for duck hunting so you are not shooting sitting ducks, but will also freeze any animal for a second and then they bolt.

it will stop a walking animal (most times) so its a easyer and better shot.

Ok, so who is that whistling in the single player version every once in a while. If it's a bird, it doesn't sound like one. It sounds like a human.

At first I started looking around to see if someone was there .... ha.

^ and if that happened... I would suggest reassigning that key to anything else one is not likely to press, when key stabbing in frenzy. ; )

No, this whistle is not as loud to the players ears as the other whistle. It sounds like it's about 10-20 yards away and in a certain direction.

The whistle you can use, even when it's locked.
But then it works only sometimes, that the animals are freezing.
Unlocked the whistle works every time you use it. :steamhappy:
