Water buffalo killed me inside hunting structure
I was standing inside hunting structure when water buffalo came and killed me in 2 hits. Does it even make sense? Is there a way I can avoid it?

No. Lions in Savanna can kill you inside a ground blind as well and both of them can kill U when you are inside a tent.

tripod or tree stand is about all that will protect one.
Of course one will have to purchase that DLC.

It's how the Dev's get you coming or going.

The game was not done right, I used to make custom MP maps for Call of Duty and when making a structure if it was not Chaulked right you would be able to walk right through the walls I have seen it on some of the custom maps. If maps are made in a hurry there are going to be mistakes, it takes time to do them right.

Oh yay, another wannabe programmer that could do better...... COD Really.

well the blinds are technically made of fabric and whatever else, it'd make sense to me a determined, angry wounded animal is going to knock it over, while in a tree blind you are out of reach

i just do it on foot and shoot them from far enough away they don't get to me. Cape buffalo, at least, i still haven't found the right distance to shoot a lion without it arrowing in on my location to maul me. But cape buffalo just flee without attacking, in my experience, as long as you're not super close when you shoot them

I never said that I could do better, I said that if things aren't done a certain way it will cause problems. So instead of coming on here and say what you said, why don't you pull your head out of your Arse and actually read and understand what I said, before you throw your worthless 2 cents in.

It's not that big a deal all in all. In RL an African Lion, a Bison or Buffalo of any stripe or even a bear with some size to it, would make short work of a flimsy plywood ground blind (like the ones we have in the game).

You are right about that, but I have been killed in the out post cabins also.

Two issues, first hit boxes (this one is the opposite to shooting rocks when you are on them), second is that the structures are plywood. I suspect that if you built non- lion proof hides in a reserve full of drooling maneaters, you wouldn't be in business long.

I've been killed by buffalo inside a lodge.

I thought it was very well said, you should learn to respect another programmers work, leave that COD level stuff at the door. Try to keep it civil too.

Great pic. Thanks. Terrible Experience though I bet ha ha!

Blinds, tri-pods and tree stands should all be equal. A tri pod would not stand up to a charging water buffalo IRL. SO if we are suspending reality anyway. A blind should provide equal protection as the other two.

I get your point but no. A tree stand is out of reach for all but puma, and black bear. they're the only tree climbers that could get up to one.

we should be vulnerable in all but the tree stands and the outposts.

It makes sense that they can kill you in a ground blind, come on, had it been a real one you wouldn't be here.

It camouflage you it doesn't offer any protection.
