Is Tressler #10 mission same as the Tresslers main mission for wounded boar?

In Tressler #10 mission you are supposed to harvest a "huge boar". I can find the tracks of a 186-240kg boar in the Mullerwald Logging area but it seems I cannot lure the huge boar to the area and I have to start to track it. It it possible to lure this boar into area or is the only way to go after its tracks and try to catch it? I've seen it once when tracking and it says "huge boar" in the animals description but I cannot get it to stop or can't get a clean shot.

I just shoot directly after i seen him from far and yes both missions are sames, so you can kill the same boar 2 times. Weird

Same area, two huge boars. Don't recall this on my first playthrough, I guess they reworked some other mission?

Did you track him silently by sneaking or did you run after him? It seems that luring that boar in is impossible (correct me if I'm wrong, please). Sometimes the tracks vanish for a few hundred meters after you pick them up again.

When I did the main mission I just ran and suddenly boar was in front of me standing still.

No, I didn't track him. When you come near the mission objectives (150m). Just crouch and you can see him there, he will wait for you. I just shoot him from 75-100m. Mission complete, and diamond.

I have set my tent in the area of Mullerwald Logging area. Should I leave the area and come back? Does it matter from which direction you enter the mission area?

Restart the game, dont use tent. Teleport to mullerwald outpost and go to mission area with foot and 150 m before that area just crouch. You will see him there stand and go round but will not leave area

@Kosa I think you have the correct answer here. I had a pretty weird incident. I came home and started up the game. I left game running for about an hour in a main menu where the "Continue" etc selections are. Went to balcony to drink champagne with my wife because of our summer vacation just started

If I remember correctly game time was about 4:00-5:00 o'clock in the menu. I came back after an hour and in main menu weather looked like early morning. I was about to start to try your trick about moving out of the area and come back. I spawned in my tent and I went out of it and the boar was there where the bloody tracks start in Tresslers main mission. So I just took my bow and downed the boar
