I do not know if the .454 Rhino retains 100% integrity for a wolf.
Personally I chase the wolf with my Cacciatore 12G rifle and 12 caliber bullets.
At each attack of wolves I can lengthen 4 and the rest of the pack goes away most of the time (the cacciatore pulls 6 balls fast enough).
If I see them from a distance I use my 7 millimeters, but often they are only injured and run away.
I get killed rarely by hunting with cacciatore and bullets.
I'm mad at buffaloes, bears and lions only.
.454 is full integrity vs wolves. But when not under attack I use the 7mm on them....
Longe range, I would say the Mosin Nagant, you can hit two times I think, but one well placed shot is enough.
Lever-actions are the way to at closer ranges, I use a 30-30 Winchester for Blacktail IRL works extremely well to about 150yds.
