Trophy Hunt - Diamonds

Hello

So I got this mission, I have to kill and harvest a diamond rating animal from each species in parque fernando.
How is this possible? I havent come along a diamond yet? And for all species? That mission would take more than 100 hours? Any tips, tricks?

Hardest mission going, only a hand full of people have completed it.

I just moved on with my life. It is a mission I will never complete. Like finding all those targets to shoot without googling where they are.

I did finish all the missions on the Yukon though.

Yeah this mission is too brutal.. all diamonds are really hard. Why not all gold..
Devs could make gold for mission and diamond for secret achievement

I always thought this mission was ridiculously hard. Most, if not all of the people who have completed it have done so by server hopping and literally running around the map at full speed looking for signs of a diamond. No diamonds here, we'll just hop over to the next host and see what they've got. Fine if you're just chasing achievements but I don't consider that to be hunting. It's more like shooting targets.

Another reason not to play MP or have the host lock down the server to friends only, or limit the number of players that can join.

100 hours might be on the low end of what's required as well unless the devs had the foresight to require the animal spawning code to keep minimum 1 platinum per species alive at all times. Even then, that single animal could easily elude you for many many hours if you made some bad choices of where to move with higher visibility/noise and where it wanders.

At least the Gold one for Hersch isn't too bad since golds still make up like 5-10%(?) of males instead of those extreme requirements for diamond. Gold seems like the more realistic goal for this type of broad hunt than diamond.

Patience. Looking around for tracks of the special one. Find its needs zones.
Put a tent and a hide and wait for it to walk by.
Then you need a perfect shot.
And hope it is really a diamond and not a very good gold.
(I am half way, takes me ages as well. Need still a red and an axis deer - and a duck, but I suspect last one is a matter of luck.)

I'm still trying to find a diamond red deer, puma, and blackbuck; killed so many that were just shy of diamond, it's sickening (less than 1 point). They've all been big mythical animals though(and whatever blackbucks one below is--easy?); haven't seen a legendary. I've got tents all over the map but I'm at a loss. I don't know what else to do. This mission is starting to feel impossible...

Don't stress too much about this one. It's something you'll complete randomly one day long after you are done with the main storyline of PF and just hunting randomly on the map.

It's my last mission for the entire game...so, I feel like I can't hunt anything else until it's done.

Finally got it done. It's brutal. It took me several hundred hours over a 7 month period to do it. Dunno which is harder..a Red Stag or an Axis deer.

And the next mission for you die hards out there... Find a dozen pieces of rocking horse sh!t... You have 2 days in which to do it
