Animal Behavior's
I must say I absolutely love this game. However I feel the game is very much lacking in the fear and excitement that comes along with hunting. I would like to see; Bucks & Bulls clashing horns, Bears in wrestling matches, all predator's chasing down prey & eating them. That's including the player themselves. Bears, Wolves, and Mountain Lions are often known to stock Hunters and even get away with killing and eating them. Grizzly Bears and male Lions typically do not run away from gun fire, they challenge the Hunter. A lot of times Bull Moose will challenge the Hunter as well, Bull Elk in the rut are even known to challenge the Hunter. Though I very much appreciate every other aspect of the game I feel it can become very doll and unexciting. I hope many of you feel this way as well. I would very much like to see these behaviors added to the animals.

I'd also like to see "free spirited" hippies randomly while wandering. Bonus if we can shoot them.

The last few DLCs have added some much needed variety to animal behaviour. Here's hoping the devs will go back to the older species and bring them up to the level of the pumas and wolves.

I recently bought the Tundra map and every single Grizzly ran away from me, I purposely ran up as close as I could to one and it just ran away. That was a huge let down for me. ALL the animals need to have their aggressive traits in the game.

There is not that much fear and excitement in hunting. I hope they don't spoil it more then they already have with unrealistic behavior.

You don't sound like you know much about the dangers of hunting.

Go hunt cape buffalo by crawling amongst them...you'll get more than enough butt-cheek clenching.

Yes, because everyone hunts lion in Africa or what?
Tell me what is dangerous about hunting in Europe?
The only thing that can be dangerous is following wounded wild boar into fields, that can end deadly.

Other than that...?
I doubt the generic roe deer has your name on a list...

And the US? Pff. Hunting bears is not "dangerous" as long as you are armed. They almost never *really* charge, so where is the danger here?

And wolves... yeah, really wanna go down that road man?

So next time you"educate someone" about the dangers of hunting, think twice.

I was gonna say, I love the Yukon map but the wolf behavior is so aggressive it's actually comical. Like one was following me around in circles when I was on my ATV like a Terminator. I was gonna request a 'realistic animals' mode, where the animals do their absolute best to AVOID you, not hunt you down (just a 'mode' because I understand that the developers would want to keep the usual game more 'gamey' for the casual players that want a lot of action).

Id like black bears to charge a little more often (wouldnt be realistic but more fun.) but overall the behavior isnt unrealistic how it currently it. there's less interactions between species than id like but oh well. Also the guys saying hunting isnt dangerous, youre plain stupid. Hunting involves weapons and unpredictable animals. Theres a bit of danger in hunting, just because youre used to the danger level doesnt mean its not dangerous.

the animals are pretty stupid at times, I can sit in a stand and shoot at a group of them from far enough away that they just walk around until I manage to kill a few. The wolves on the new map are pretty crazy though, first time I encountered two of them while looking at the map and they snuck up and got me a couple times while I was on an ATV.

If you experience a lot fear while hunting IRL, then you should not be hunting.

I do not recall mentioning "Deer" chasing the player down and eating them. I also don't really understand your logic behind saying everyone is hunting Lions in Africa? There are many potential dangers while hunting Wolves, Bison, & Brown Bears in Europe. Even more so if you're hunting with a bow. There are plenty of stories of hunters in a panic because their rifle jammed while trying to shoot a charging bear. Also, yeah sure let's talk about Wolves. They're the main reason you never go hunting alone. A pack of Wolves is more likely to attack a single Hunter rather than 2 Hunters, even then it depends on how hungry they are. I'm not asking for a unrealistic hunting game. I am simple hoping to run into the all the things I have mentioned in the post now and then. So before you decide to argue there is "no danger" in hunting do some research jackass. bye bye now little guy.

I hadn't played the Yukon map until today, and I drove around on my 4wheeler searching for Wolves and yes, they do chase you down on the 4wheeler and attack you lol which is very unrealistic. Also, it's more like they're ramming you instead of biting lol it's funny but not at all what I was hoping for.

I do not recall ever mentioning a certain "level" of fear that I personally experience while hunting. However I am always wary while hunting. You never know what could happen. The idea of being eaten alive is quite terrifying. However if you have absolutely no fear of being eaten alive well good for you bud. I can bet you probably wouldn't like the feeling, just call it a guess.
