And OP you should have played there before the last patch, they were more aggressive then.
Yeah, I got really chewed up. I love how they 'snake' after you. It was an odd moment when I first saw them. I usually see things pretty good but these guys seemed put as much effort into stalking me as I do when after a deer.
Funny thing because, I have only just applied your suggestion of turning the tracks off. I'm looking closely at the ground for signs of stuff...then I'm running like a rabbit.
It reminded me of playing The Long Dark. Wolves are a bit full on in that game also.
I really like having a couple of maps where there is a predator that you have to stay mindful of ,keeps me on my toes. With tracks off its much move nerve racking but a lot of fun as well.
