Hunting Times
Is there any way to set the time for hunting in the morning/daytime/ and evening hunting only.

If you mean freezing time progression, no. If it's later/ earlier than you like, you can rest till the next day and resume your hunt at the desired time.

You pretty much don't want to limit the hunting time anyway since different animals rest/eat/drink at different times. Animals are harder to find when they are resting in particular, because a lot of rest zones are in more hidden/abstract places and of course the animals are down low.

Here is a chart that shows what the species do at different times. As you can see some species are actually better to hunt at night.... while others in the morning.... and others in the afternoon. So you'll never get the optimal experience sticking to one period of the day.

But for what it's worth, sleeping and changing the time is nearly cost-free so you can always keep doing that.

Nope you can fast forward to a set start time but once your end time passed you either have to hunt on or return to an outpost or tent or your lodge if you have the tent or lodge DLC and then sleep setting the time again for the start time.

Tents are your best option for sleeping is cheaper then the outposts and I believe cheaper then lodge if I remember right.
