Which Lure call works on Plains Bison with perk?

hey guys its me again, this time i do have a problem, i was hunting Bison last night with my recurve and 12 gage slugs, but I'm haven problems lureing them with my diffrent callers, ofc i have the perks needed to attract Bison, but they're not responding even when within 50m range. I've tryed the Red deer caller which works on forest bison, and the moose and elk callers but no matter how close i get they are simply ignoring them no matter how much i blow my horn. meaning rather than ambushing them i have to try and sneak untill i'm point blank in order to use my bow away from the safty of a stand or large rock. or haven to shoot them with my shotgun at over 100m which isnt great for clean hits as we all know. Now i want to try my 45-70 on them like an old western but i would much rather to get them within a minimum of 70m to shoot and perferable safely out of reach. SO can please any fellow hunters here tell me which caller works on the Plains bison or what if indeed i'm doing wrong. :D

There is not caller that works on Bison or Buffalo.

Each caller has the species it will attract in its description. The red deer call doesn't work for bison. Some animals are programmed to be curious and will wander toward your character regardless of whether you use a call or not. It is just a coincidence that the forest bison are coming near you.

There is a perk that adds a chance that ANY call will attract species it is not meant for but nobody other than the Devs knows how it really works.

but it is true, for example, with the perk needed, the rabbit caller can also attract blackbears, the grunt caller is a super magnet for rabbits and hares, and the elk caller works for musk deer, the red deer caller works on roe deer, and also attracts the forest bison, ive tryed and tested after somone told me, i've also found the pig caller brings in the musk deer aswell but not as affective as the elk caller, the moose caller also works on raindeer from the tiaga too.. it is only so far that the plains bison has proved too stubbon despite me being told the red deer caller works on both bison. so if someone who does know could speak up and tell me it will be helpful to many more other than me and we'd all be gratefull.

or... you could equip the callers you haven't tried and go test them.
