Medved Taiga "Tourist"-achievement.

Hello! So, I wonder how many landmarks there are in Medved Taiga, as I've unlocked the 30 I was told there was, but didn't get the achievement.
Can this be a bug?

All of the Taiga collectible missions are/were bugged. They required you to discover every location in one single game session. Meaning, start a fresh save, hop on the quad and drive to them all while praying your game didn't crash. I spent an entire weekend unlocking them once and it was not worth it - especially given many other achievements were bugged at the time and it seems we'll never be able to unlock the Halloween events again. There's no sense in trying to 100% this game.

Ugghhh, seriously? I'm doing achievements/missions this time around so I was kind of hoping they'd all work by now.

I haven't started Medved yet so this is good to know. Good thing I have the ATV DLC...

OP said it didn't trip the achievement, and I'm guessing it didn't for Cold Conduct.

So something is up with it or not?

Like, 30 under the "Landmarks" in the codex? That's it? No special triggers?
I counted the map-marked landmarks and there's only 29 there for me, although 30 unlocked in the codex... I'll make a list to compare tomorrow, to tired now though

It is not false information. There are plenty of old threads and posts about this exact issue and it is what I had to do myself to get them working. They may have addressed it in a recent patch, hence why I said they "are/were bugged", but given what the OP is describing I am inclined to believe they may be having the same problem and the achievements weren't fixed.

I'm watching hockey. Hockey takes precedence over video games in my life, but I'll be happy to dig up a bunch of links if you would like me to when I have the time.

Edit: For starters, here is an old thread where you yourself acknowledged that Pilgrim was bugged and Rookie, too, mentioned that the others needed to be completed in one session. This was an extremely common complaint and completing them in one session was always recommended as a 'workaround' fix.

Everything is fixed but that Paleontology 101 achievement. and yes you can't get the halloween event achievements, because it was a one time event.

and come to think of it they fixed Paleontology 101 also, except for players that already had the 21 tusks and artifacts. we had to get within 450yds of them again to trigger.

I already have the achievements tied to those locations, landmarks is what it's about. And after counting and reading them, I can confirm that it's bugged. 4 of my landmarks on the map shows the same name, and when going there to read them on spot, they're totally different from the name altogether.
I think "Cold Conduct" is right about this matter, sadly.

It'd been good... If it hadn't been either too zoomed out, or too zoomed in. Tried to copy to paint, but when trying to zoom there it just gets blurry and unreadable.

By the way, you should totally put together a steam guide for the locations, as the currently existing guides are incomplete and out of date! Great work!
I managed to get the achievement by following "Cold Conduct"'s advise of doing it in one sitting, I think it might have bugged as I played offline for most of my Taiga experience as of internet issues... But idk, never bugged other achievements! Thanks anyway!
