What FPS(frames per second) are you getting in the game???
With all the gameplay I know there are more important things to discuse but As of yet I haven't heard anything said on the forums about FPS and performance. As some one who has the bare minimum requirements on the video card end, I Have a 7870, I'm interested in knowing what are the FPS people are getting with there set up??? I would like to know your guys perpormanc. Post details as such:

1) What are your CPU and Video card specs??
2) what resolution have you been playing in??
3) Are any of you playing it in Stereoscopic 3D( using Tridef or 3D vision..if possible that is)??
4) How does the game look between, low, med, and high settings with diff resolutions(pics would
be helpfull??)
4) And last what are your average FPS...

If There's anyone out there who managed to get a beta key and is playing near the minimum requirements I'm interested in knowing your performance the most. Though I plan on buying a better video card when the game comes out, just in case I can't and I'm stuck using my 7870 I would like to know what to expect. I ddin't a beta key as well as many otheres and I'm sure others are asking the same questions. Thanks in advance.

I have an i7 4770K with an asus 7970,
I play mostly on low and medium settings and average around 50 fps...

Like you Im looking to upgrade my gpu, either the 970 4gb or a 1060 6gb

I dunno if the 7970 is put more pressure on the cpu or if its just the game, but the cpu was workkng around 40 to 45% for the game alone and around 50% overall

Plus my card runs <50c while play 7 days to die, but hit 60c on COTW

1080P resolution
Medium settings +SSAO average 60fps

The graphics up close look real nice but distant objects look flat and bland.

Maxed Out on 1080p no Motion Blur getting 30-40 fps. This game needs some optimization. I believe it is something to do with nvidia gameworks again

i7
16gb ram
1070gtx 6gb
750gb ssd

no change in default settings except no motion blur; system res of 1920*1080
45-50 fps give or take. pretty steady at the FPS. cant really find any sweet spoit that will drag the game up to steady 60fps
your cpu is just as important.remember this is a brand new game for 2017 ! new engine.so you want ideally pc components to match. the min card i would play this on for a decent experience which is fairly new is a 1060 gtx. older cards similar 970 gtx , 980 gtx , amd 290 , 390. thats at 1080.

cpu ideally you should have atleast a older gen sandybridge i5 or above.upto modern cpu.also you dont want a old cpu with a modern card can create bad bottlenecks fps drops.

shadows seem to be the main FPS killer.
playing on ym office pc: i5 with a 970gtx and i can manage 50-60 fps at 1080 with most on defaults appart from shadows (medium) and motion blur off.

i7 6700k @4,2ghz
R9 280x
8GB RAM

Settings:

Shadows: Medium (Could play on High, but difference is not worth the 5fps hit)
Terrain Detail: Ultra
Scene Complexity: Low (this is a real FPS killer, turning it to Medium or High cuts my FPS in half)
Water Quality: Low (give or take 2-3 fps, makes no sense to leave on as there rarely is water and has no gameplay function)
Texture Resolution: High
Volume Fog Quality: Low (games looks worse with this turned on lol, give or take 3-4 FPS)
Fur Quality: High (looks nice and has no effect on FPS)
Anisotoric Filtering: 2 (better than 0 and no effect on FPS, higher settings make it slightly better looking but take away 3-4 fps, not worth it)
SSAO: ON (Game looks way better with it, but easily takes away 10 fps, still worth it)
Motion Blur: Off (useless, game looks worse with it on)
Screen Space: Off (no idea what it does, seems to alter metallic shininess on the huntermate, eats away some fps)
Depth of Field: Off (No real grafical plus, eats away a couple fps)
Global Illumination: Off (makes everything more colorful, eats away a couple fps, not really worth it imo)
Heat Haze: Off (Literally no idea what it does, doesn't take away fps but also does nothing obvious)

With these settings the game still looks fantastic and I have 55-80fps. You should give it a try. :)

4790k
gtx 970 oc
16gb ram
1080p

I was playing with high preset before and avg fps 50. Now I tried ultra settings and feels it's over 40 all the time. Looks nice wiht medium settings too.

Edit: going down near 30 on ultra settings. Still playable!
