range finder Vs level 3 binoculars
Hi

I just hit level 27 this morning and at 29 I know the level 3 binoculars unlock.

Being I already have the level 2 range finder is it really worth the expense for the level 3?

What benefits if any do you get with the level 3 over the level 2 range finder?

Being you can't really shot anything much past around 500 M's does it matter if the range is farther since can't shoot assuming level 3 has further range?

2-in-1 package
yeah but when I look through my range finder it isn't a single view it's actually binocular that's why I am wondering being I can zoom in and out with the level 2 range finder and have 2 sides rather then one monocular.

So that is why I am wondering what use there is for level 3

How much zoom does rangefinder have? Can you spot animals with it just like binoculars?

Well here is what I see and this is zoomed in fully and in this case I targeted 500M's out fully zoomed in and I can still examine what animals are at this range using this.

This is the level 2 range finder store page it says up to 1500yards with range in there.

Level 3 Binoculars

but from what I have seem here seems about the furthest you can shoot is around 500M so being animals can be targeted at 500M's with the range finder this is why I wonder what benefits if any the level 3 have being they do cost 24,000 which I can think better used for the 338 but just unsure if there is some benefit being I have no way to test them out before hand.

The bino/rangefinder combo is far superior to the standalone rangefinder.

I felt it was worth the buy since I use the zeroing perk and was sick of switching back and forth. 2 in 1 opened another slot to put another lure at the ready.
yeah see my case I dumped my binoculars ages ago since the range finder an zoom in and out. Having additional zoom doesn't really make so much sense since I can't shoot with my binoculars.

Superior in what way Pugdogz?

no as there are two circles not one! I have a screen shot trying to upload but seems steams having some issues but it looks pretty much identical to this as far as how it looks between the range finder and the level 3 binoculars.

Only difference I am seeing is potential zoom factor/range.
Since the screen shot won't upload here is ZaggiDK's video. Skip to around 40 seconds into the video and at 43-44 is uses his level 3 and you will see they look pretty much identical to the range finder when looking through them

I just bought it the other day thinking it would be a step up. Honestly, I don't see much of a difference. If you want to save your money for something else then don't bother. Get it later when you have money to burn. Or not at all.

Yeah that is sort of what I am thinking as seems killing range is around 500M's give or take and the range finder will identify animals in this range anyways and being I am not shooting with it the animal does not have to be super up close or crisp to identify it it even tells what sort of animal so might just do that and save for the 338 instead.

Did a test to see how much difference there is. Side by side it is noticeable, but like you said, scope zoom is more important.
