Best place to hunt roe deer for noobs?
Is there a better location than another? Seems like certain animals are in certain areas. Where would be the best place to get roe?

Thansk!

They're all over Hirschfelden (European reserve). That's also where you find fallow deer and red foxes.

Once there, keep an ear out and use bushes and the starter lure.

Yea, just wonder round pretty much anywhere with the roe deer lure, i run, the second i hear a warning i drop and use the call, most times they come to me, just gottta be patient, you also dont need to spam those lures, the call lasts a while

Doesn't hurt to pump it a few times. It does say 40% chance, so that mean's either an XCOM Rookie's chance of working, or it'll only draw in the super easy critters (1-4). I usually give it 3-4 honks back to back, then wait a minute or so.

I've never spooked off an animal re-using it, even in close proximity for bow hunting

Here's a great guide that shows some of the bests spots for all animals and some useful info about each animal.

Take that guide with a grain of salt, though. I know for a fact that there are a TON of Red Deer in the canyon in Rotwalt.

Generally, the further north you go in Hirschfelden the more red deer you see. At least, that's the way it's been for me.

also, no deer in Hirschfelden react to the deer bleat/grunt calls. Those are for NA deer.

Speaking of roes.. how the heck does the scent spray work?
