blocking users

Hi All

Question for some more familiar with steam then I am. I finally had to block a player today as the other day he seemed cool but after a few days I found he was being extremely annoying to say the least so much that I removed and blocked him on steam.

Will this block him in game as well like if I chose to do a multiplayer map of my own will this block him from joining the match without me setting it to friends as sometimes I don't mind hosting so others can try out the maps and such but will blocking him in steam prevent him also from joining in a public multiplayer match I might make?

Just curious.

If it won't consider this an in game feature suggestion for a way to block players from joining multiplayer matches that are set to all.

I doubt a Steam block will interact that well with a game. The block won't even prevent them from seeing your online status or knowing the game you're in.

well on steam it does block them from seeing when you are online based on what this user is saying regarding steam block but in game there really needs to be a way to block out users based on steam or game ID
