What is your favorite animal to hunt?
I really enjoy elk hunting in this game. I'd prefer bow hunting the elk, but the bows need some work still. I've already gotten a couple of 5-Medium diamond kills. Hopefully my next 5-Medium elk will a bow kill.

I like hunting red deer and wild boar. They seem to interact with their enviroment more realistically than other species. When stalking them, it feels more emersive.

Roe deer because they're stupid. They'd come back again and again as long as you spam the caller.

I like Bison, one, because they have a serious attitude and will attack you, two, they travel in heards so you can take them out one by one, three, they tend to move slow and are so huge you can usually line up that perfect shot. that being said, i have run into some that are superbison and you can shoot them all day and they just attack you and kill you. i like the challenge. plus when you are closing in really close to one they give you a warning and the game doesnt show the direction or allow you to examine the call, its just the sound, right in front of you, very dramatic and adds to the thrill. danger and excitement :)

I agree, hunting elk is the best, especially the males. I think it would be nice if they could add a few more larger animals into the game, like say much larger Bears, perhaps some lynx or something like that, I mean dangerous animals, just a few, at a time so that we don't get rushed from behind and some larger random specimens. The bigger the better. And perhaps 1-2 more powerful rifles, perhaps a .50 caliber rifle, just to see it in action on an animal.

Whitetail are and always will be my favorite. After whitetail, I can't resist shooting a barking coyote.

Red deer, red fox, coyote and black bears are fun to hunt because they are the only animals that can be above level 5-medium difficulty. Hunting high level animals like mythicals and legendaries is much more fun.

Coyote is more fun hunted with the 30-30.

Red Deers and Wild Boars without a doubt. However, I havent played Layton Lake yet, so that might change once I start playing it.

What, 5 diamonds. I'm 150 hours in and still have not seen am animal that could qualify for a diamond kill. Am I doing something wrong?

Yes, I like the red dear too. Similar toughness to Elk but more difficult to hunt, I think.
