I'm looking for 'BACK TO MAIN MENU' Not an 'EXIT TO DESKTOP'

How can i get back to the mainmenu while I'm playing?

Close the game and start it again. I´m getting annoyed by whiners who constantly complain about the lack of this freakin useless button. It´s like disliking a supercar, because it lacks an ashtray.
How can this be so important, that everyone complains about it? Damn, look at this magnificient world they have created and you complain about the lack of a menubutton..

Thanks for your comment! I always close the game and restart to go back to mainmenu. Maybe this is only way to get there so far. and, i have something to tell you about your story. Do you think I'm a 'whinner' who complaining about useless button? I think you have mad at something. go get some rest for healing. hope you enjoy the world joyfull.

They have said that are working on a return to menu button, it will come in a patch when it's ready.

use the "Windows" button on keyboard. This will take you back to Desktop where main screen should be open

We are looking into adding this option into the game as soon as possible. For the time being there is unfortunately no other option than exiting to main menu. Sorry about that.

i never play multiplayer so this option does not bother me,but I can see why having to shut the game down and starting it again can be frustrating.

Using the Windows key does not exit the game, but does take you back to main menu. I started a game at a Lodge, forgot that I had used all scent eliminator, used Windows key to go back to main menu, purchase scent eliminator, then opened game and put scent eliminator in backpack. So, can you tell me why this exit to main menu is such an issue?

Why do you have to go to the Main menu to buy scent eliminater? Just go back to an outpost. I think you're talking about TheHunter Classic.

It wasn't about purchasing scent eliminator. Some players seem to have a problem with not having a "exit to main menu" button. So I was just using that as an example, by using the "Windows" button on keyboard, you can access the main menu running in the background. It does not exit the game.
