@Mr Caldavera - I have found several large herds on the north western side of Ratherrfield so no surprise they are there. There is a bino image in my screenies of at least 30+.

Interesting. I found my first red deer in Rathenfeld after 130+ hours of playing. I was convinced only roes and fallows occupy the area. Maybe it has to do with me changing tactics. At first I walked from outpost to outpost whereas now I tend to scout more in one area. Or it was just bad luck, who knows.
Like today, 3 places I found groups of Elk males of 3-5 while looking for other species - miles and miles apart. That kind of grouping used to be somewhat isolated in TCH and perhaps there's a bit of legacy thinking happening here too.
