ok~ let pro Bow master tell you the truth:
70lb arrow is faster than 60lb, +1/6 arrow fps in game
and less windage influence than 60lb
so 80lb bow arrow will around +1/3 arrow speed in game after release...

Very nice shooting from prone! (I need more practice).Yeah, in general for every extra 1 lb, you get an extra 1 fps.
They gave the CB70 less accuracy (than the CB60), and perhaps the random offest might be seen more with the 70 than the 60, the extra fps helps a bit with that. Relatively speaking, the CB70 should throw the 600g with the same fps as a CB60 shooting a 420g.
IMO, the CB70 is worth using is you have all the archery perks and expecting long range shots. For me, I have the CB70 but since I don't shoot beyond 40m I'm happy with the CB60 to do my work. CB70 is better at larger game at a distance (moose and elk), but if you just plan on shooting smaller stuff, the CB60 is just fine.
The game doesn't seem to model the "bow snap" when shooting (to alert the animal before the arrow arrives, in which case faster is better), but hard to tell since I don't video record my shots (maybe I should!). It's been said that nobody makes a bow fast enough for a deer, in that regard.
As I know, there's only fps different between CB60 and CB70, CB70 arrow is faster.
the damage is up to your arrow, now bow.
and the arrow range is fixed, not by sights.
so thats why you can change arrow and bow sights without any feeling changed.
