Can't find the dead bison anywhere in rinderland gorge.

I mean I've followed the few bison tracks there are...no go. Where is this dead animal?

It's right at the entrance to the gorge itself, in a field. Can't miss it if you go there.

Hey dohh,
The 'guide' (autohelp) will mark a hunting opportunity for you when you get close to the entrance of the gorges. Note that the gorge is to the north-west of the rest area. Meaning we arent talking about the entrance of the 'map area' but really the entrance of the gorges. You can use the topography mapping to detect this terrain as its really deep.
Now once you get to the said 'hunting opportunity' there will be a bison sitting still, you cant shoot it dead. I'd recommend making sure you have the proper mission selected, then 'mark' the bison with your binoclars, then walk up to the bison and press 'E' (activate).
