First "Blonde" Black Bear.

I've seen brown fur types and cinnamon but never a blonde lol she mauled me to death and I had to track the body down. Luckly I remembered my area and she didn't go too far.

Yep I got a couple of those so far... Still no albino or pie bald after 108 hours :(

I've only ever killed 1 piebald it was a roe deer, I ran up to it, I heard a call. Went to track the call and confirmed trophy lol

I shot at least one of those and a cinnamon. Also I shot at least 2 piebald (a moose and a blacktail iirc.) I got one albino coyote. That is in over 200 hours (although 30-40 hours the game was idle in the background.) Some get more and some less. What I'm most interested in getting is a melatinistic (black) fur type of anything that doesn't usually come in black. It is the rarest fur type in whitetails and a few other species.

I saw one just now. I'm in Norden, Layton Lake District. It was golden in color like a golden retriever. It was next to a black colored black bear. Had I had the mission to photograph 2 bears at once, this would've been the desired opportunity.

I killed one in MP but sadly it crashed before I got to harvest, was really frustrating :(

They aren't worth more points, but they seem to hide a little more than the others. For example often the higher difficulty ones come last in a bunch and so have my rare fur animals. Either that or they have been solo and spookier just like higher dc animals. It may be just how it worked out for me so far and coincidental though.

It turns out these albino black bears aren't as rare as I first thought. I saw two today and one yesterday. All were in the Layton Lake District. I did a spot on one and it was difficulty 5 - medium.

I just had encounter with blond bear, and what is even more it was 8 - Mythical as well. I could get decent score, but unfortunately it unexpectedly attacked me when I was tracking two bear tracks, and several minutes later charged toward me again. I did not even know it is mythical until I ambushed it for final third shot.

So, 731 was the score. Not good, but I got 'Coat of Many Colors' achievement and more experience.

Its pity you cannot take a photo of one of these rare animals (before shooting) it and get points for that (not as much as shooting it of course), in case of server crashing or it got away, at least you can show you had it in your sights. Perhaps there are some missions to take pics of rare game already, but i was taking in general.
