yes, and in my experience more reliably than TheHunter Classic. Seems like every animal in this game will drop dead eventually if you hit it and follow it long and far enough (though tracking one animal for several hundred clues after a hit has a performance slowdown issue the devs are working on).

even if the bleeding is very low ?

Well i hit one that was reading as vital organ hit leaving a pool of blood as big as i am well the trail i followed allways said low bleed and took an hour to track it down sooo seems a bit odd.

I don't track anymore if bleeding is very low. I tracked one for nearly 45 minutes without it dropping dead.

That was most likely a bug. Out of the many hundreds of animals that I've killed, I've had one or two that wouldn't bleed out. They were both stuck, as well, when I shot them. So, I'm assuming they were just bugged.

But, generally, they'll bleed out eventually.

There is a bug.... When you get a very low shot, you have approx 50% chance it will become an undead and keep running forever even when it lost all it's blood. Whenever you get better than "very low" usually they drop relatively quick, especially the smaller game.

I reported it as a bug 2 weeks ago after chasing one for about the same time... I ended up catching up to him in a large opening and got a second shot to kill it. When I harvested it, it showed the first bullet did 99% and second bullet did 0%. It had been at 0-25% health for at least 30 min, leaving only puddle of bloods (no tracks anymore, just non-stop puddles).

Definitely a bug....

Yeah, there's some kind of a bug, an animal actually bleeds out but never dies until you shoot it again. Before a patch I killed one deer with an EAR shot... And it actually died kinda fast, I was using 7mm magnum. Maybe they tried to fix this and just overfixed it? :D

Had this bug before and after the patch. I don't think they tried fixing it. Not even sure they have acknowledged it's existence.

Yeh, nothing worse to track a bleeding animal for hours, never to find it dead.

Sometimes in rl it's good to push a deer to bleed out (although not usual.) No such thing here as far as I can tell. Patience is definitely a virtue. Yes they bleed out. Sit tight and maybe you'll even get a second shot unless you know you can chase them to a pinch point and get a second shot.
