New crouching speed
The new crouching speed is ridicolous honestly.. no one ever in real life would be that slow. Maybe my 90 year old grandma but not a grown up man!!!!!

You are hunting, not running a marathon.

I think this is what a lot of people wanted, it follows that if you want to be quiet you have to move slow it is a pretty good middle of the road solution for a problem that was not that big of a problem in the first place, but had a lot of people speaking out about it.

just push SHIFT while crouched and you will be fast, you should read about the changes before start crying.

I play hunter classic for 7 years now and the crouching speed on classic is very good its not to slow and not to fast. But the way it is now with COTW it takes you ages to for example crouch towards a bush or crouch over a hill. When you walk over the hill or to the bush you spook the animals. I NEVER run in classic and COTS and I never will. So dont tell me to be more patient. I know how to play the games and I know that the crouching speed for COTW is to slow. even if you can crouch faster when moving the run key

Dude... As they're saying, hold shift OR use Capslock to toggle, crouch speeds up noticeably. With shift down it's roughly the same speed as tH Classic. (1400+ hours here).

With this slower speed we can cut noise when it gets down and dirty - a MUCH bigger factor now.

Totally agree. I'm now tracking and taking foxes with a bow, something that I had a hard time doing prior.

Foxes are a challenge, those things have ninja senses, easier with the auto hotkey fix, and much better with the new crouch sneak.
Before that I used to lose my patience and always end up with a kamikaze charge shooting from the hip.:)

do you still use Autohotkey since the new crouching system is there =?

Stalking animals is impossible cause they are moving so fast..

Call them to you... Once i hear one call no matter what it is i crouch and call them to me i use the new stealth crouch to move to a open spot so i can have a clear line of sight. This aint splinter cell you aint going to sneak up on a animal and slit its neck.
