Crazy EXPENSIVE ammo prices mean one thing..
The .243 will be the go-to gun on all class 1 and 2 animals since the ammo is free.

My aiming is great - which is why I'll be putting heart shots with the .243. You know its over $1000 for 10 bullets now?

i like new prices, first bow before patch 10'000 now only 6000. time to buy bow :steamhappy:

As it stood, the ammo was too cheap for the amount you make per harvest. Even on a trivial you got 700. So why shouldn't ammo cost just about as much as one shot? I think it is fairly balanced and will create better hunters in the future.

crazy expensive ammo ? Seriously you can have more than 1000Cr in one shot with the right weapon on the right animal. (i've got 1400 cr with a OS on a fox).

so Basicly you can rentablise your CR spend for 10 bullets, with only one clean kill. Sorry to say that but that's pretty descent !
+You can have tons of CR with the mission

PS: i play with the .338/Bow/.357

Not a single Bullet in Shop is "Crazy Expensive" u can easily miss 2 of 3 shots with the 338 ... and u still would be in + ???? even on class1 animals? maybe u playing another game? i dunno

This game WAS fun up until now. It took forever to get enough money for a 50000 gun. Then forever to get enough for the optics. Now that I have it, I can't afford the crazy price for a box of ammo. 85 per round of ammo. BS. They jack ammo prices up so far that all the money I make trying to buy binos, will go to ammo. Nope. That's BS.

1 bullet = ~100 credits = 1 kill = 500-1000+ credits

Unless you are the worse shooter in the universe, I don't quite understand the outrage. Worse case even if you average 3 bullets per kill (which is absolutely terrible) you're still pretty much always doubling your investment.

I feel the change is acceptable, even though I don't feel there really was a problem before they changed it.

The one thing that bothers me is the fact I bought most of the stuff before they slashed down the prices so I end up with the short end of the stick for my investment while new players will get most of the equipment in about half the levels I have now. But oh well, I can live with that now that the bunnies stopped dragging 100' tarps behind them :P
