Its a joke to shoot 15 times on a bison with the first gun give us a nitro or cal.50 maybe 44 cheytec for bigger animals

I dropped a Bison with the .270, brain shot. It's not all about the caliber, but where you hit them. Heck even a decent lung shot (with a high penetration round) will down a bison within 50m.

I know its more a troll thread but i and other players have some time the bug that lung or heart shoots dont make damage with the 243. The next joke is i can buy a 270 gun but no ammo its ridicoulus

The .338 is pointless imo. The 7mm can down everything in the game (including Bison) with 1 shot at all ranges. The .338 is overkill.

I had that bug with the .243 as well my first playthrough. I hit at least 5 deer with clean lung shots, and when I checked the blood trails to track them down, it said 'slightly wounded' or something like that. I had to start a completely new game to fix the issue.

U can be happy u got any blood some times we cant in mp do any damge even when we shoot from 1m away when a deer stuck some were. Dats why i think we need napalm thrower or a 20mm AA.

That really does sound like a bug with the save file. As I said, I just started a completely new game, which was fine for me because I hadn't really made any progress, and vital shots are working fine now. Not sure how you'd fix that for multiplayer though. As far as the question about a .700 nitro, the only way I'd see that being a valid addition to the game is if they added an african based reserve where you could hunt rhino and elephant, which is what that gun is designed for in the first place. I don't really see that happening for a multitude of reasons, and even if it did, the ammo for the thing would be expensive as all hell considering that in real life, a box of just 5 .700 nitro express 1000 grain bullets can go for around $250

I try today the psg ammo hope it makes mor damage. Or i must try to mod a apache longbow ah 64 in the game...
