How you buy things?

You have to go to an Outpost, there´s a kind of a safe, where you can press ´e´ for interaction. Here you can find the shop.

You usually start near one an the first mission is to unlock an outpost and then a lookout tower. Its the icons on the map that looks like a house.

I carry a tent around and just set it up when I feel like I might hang around an area for a while or whatever. It acts like a portable outpost. You can buy from it and store stuff in it, or sleep to heal, like at outposts. You can just throw it down, buy some stuff, pack it back up again, no worries. They also act as spawn points. I haven't died in this game, but when you load the game up you'll start at the nearest outpost to where you left off, so if you put a tent up then you don't get teleported across the map between games. I think a lot of people just set them up around the map and leave them. I'm only fairly new to the game myself and happy enough to carry it around.

It's a DLC. If you don't have it, I think it's on sale for about $1.
