how to change ammo?

The UI is clear as mud, how do you change ammo types, and I've seen that you can take scopes off, and put them on again on the fly, but don't see a control for it in the menu?

I managed to change my ammo by kicking the rifle out of the quickslot and putting in back in. By placing the rifle to a quickslot you can choose the ammo by pulling it into the same quickslot. (who the heck has thought this out ?!)

I was gonig to say it's here but seems not. I'm sure I changed my ammo type before.

You go into the OTHER inventory screen (yes, there are two completely different ones, for some reason) by clicking inventory on the map screen. There you can select a weapon, then switch ammo and sights for it on the right side of the screen.

This needs a rework badly.

Yes, in my opinion ammo switching should be hotkey bound.

Unless it's bugged try (Holding) the Reload key. It's working for me as of this post. Hope that helps!

What type of weapon are you asking for? I use the Grelck a lot and to switch between shotgun shells and rifle ammo you press and hold the R key (hold to switch ammo, tap to reload). For other weapons I don't generally change ammo on the fly. I set up my weapons at base. Open storage, scroll down to ammo, click and drag (left column to right column) ammo to ammo slot on whichever weapon I am trying to load. I don't know if you need to but I always empty the slot before putting in new ammo (click and drag old ammo from right column to left column). You may not need to empty the slot, guess I will check and see if it does it automatically next time I play.
