Cant equip either a Scope or Ammo

i bought them both at the outpost and selected them / moved them into my inventory but i still cant reload or use the scope wtf ?

Make sure that the items u want to use are in the right field while the storage is opened (usually the weight goes up in your backpack when u do that). Then go into the menu and to your inventory and equip everything. Drag the weapon into your quickslot, click on it and then on the right side u can change ammo type and scopes.

It is worth pointing out that not all ammo and scopes are compatable with all rifles, For example if you have a .243 rifle and you buy .270 ammo this will not work with that rifle same with the scopes so make sure they are in the same family of rifles too

i have this problem too im using the ranger and it uses 243 ammo and i have equiped 243 ammo it does not work with my shotgun either
