Hope - a visitor mission: how to take photo of tracks?

Hi people...
Mission: Hope - a visitor.
Third part of mission: take photos of tracks

I found human tracks, tried to shot them with ingame photocamera, but notthing happens :)
Tracks shining but not active - cant see any interaction icon on them.

What i need to do really?

I'm having the same problem. I take out the in-game camera (p) and take a couple pictures of the tracks and the mission objective does not update. I have tried on all of the human tracks I could find and at multiple angles. I have taken around 200 photos of those tracks. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

worked for me after i taken photos of more of tracks, maybe 5 of them

this bug doesn't always occur. i didn't have it.

have you tried turning it off and on again? :P
no but seriously, missions are bugging out a lot. it's annoying.

in order to complete the quest, you need to take a couple of photos of the first track I think.

Regardless of this being an old post, thank you!
I had taken well over 30 photos, and more than one of each footstep and the cloth hanging in the tree. Never got any further - and had loads of steam screenshots of the ground.
As soon as I tested what you just said - took a photo and HELD the mouse button in it registered.

Just completed this mission. All I had to do was stand in front of the camp with the bags hanging to the left, the shelter to the right and the footprints in the lower part of the picture. Put the camera on full zoom.

For me the problem was the First tracks, when i come, to that place wasnt there, after comeing to cloth and go back to that survival camp, new track appears just in camp.

Before was first track on grass and on..

On the first set of tracks, MAKE SURE TO BE CROUCHED when you take the photo

it's not a bug but just a question of distance and angle, you have to fumble to find the right location, go around the tracks, move back a little, zoom in, zoom out etc...
