I agree with you. What a disappointment! I don't understand why they would keep out the best features of the old game....smh.....hopefully they can add those features on in future. I'm really disappointed with the no truRACS. Makes no sense!
yeah but its not a alpha or beta, its a full release. Back in my day a game was finished on release!
It's a release, ok. The reward system in-game( money, XP, etc...) is so weird. There's lack of weapons,equipement,etc.., and you need a lot, lot, lot, lot, lot xp to reach the required level to unlock the stuff. And now, you have lack of money............
Weird, weird
The Devs did not promise a rack system like in Classic, they did not promise trophy shots or global competitions. And still people complain about this. Both game share the same player base but they are not the same game, there would be no point in that.
I mean, yes, the game is more arcade syndrome, yes, its watered down, yes the animals are basically hunting themselves and begging to be shot, screaming everywhere, all the time, cant roam more than 20seconds, "BLRUEGHH" deers, does, bears, all at one place...
But....
The hunter classic didnt start off on a rainbow start either, it did take some time to progress, and digest, ask anyone from the old days, before it even went to steam...
Itstrue though, they do need to listen to the feedback now, ok we get it, its rushed out, its missing key components, its still got issues....
If devs acknowledge this, and promise to stay true to implementing the fixes/systems needed (look at what they done with MP in classic, noone expected it, and it took time, but it came!), then i say stick with it.
If you are already sold on the Classic, then no need to complain, cause guess what, its still there, aint going nowhere.
But im gonna stick with this, ill play it, do the missions, do what needs to be done, and hang hold on seeing if theres a reply on "Yes ok, we plan on this guys...", and hope that TruRAc, bugs, AI, spacing, and just overall a more immersive feeling comes back into play, like the classic had.
Oh....and MP - come on devs, thats some nonsense with the whole "Host only!" stuff.
People want to SHARE a coop experience, together, as a group, not on individual playthroughs.
And yet when i repeatedly brought these missing systems up in the beta, people said my views weren't representative of most classic players lol... well it turns out people DO care about competitions and trophy shots... and placable equipment... and truRACS
They need to just remaster The Hunter Classic with this game engine and sell as a standalone game. Would be huge. With no subscription. Only thing the Classic is missing is updated graphics.
I think when it got to late, they probably realized, but it was too late to turn back!
Whilst I agree with most of what you say in other posts this one I completley disagree, TheHunter had the same realistic feel the original developers had intended from day one to this day just with more content. This is clearly the route these developers wanted to take and I highly doubt they will make any substantial changes maybe one day they will but from past experience the game they make is the game you get bugs included, they just got lucky classic was already made before they started the takeover (got their hands on it).
